We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. This is your opportunity to get to know us, to have your questions answered and discuss your concerns. It also gives Dr. Edney the chance to do a comprehensive examination which he will use to address your orthodontic needs and potential treatment options, if needed. Additionally, this important visit will determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve.

If you are ready for treatment, we will conduct a treatment consultation to explain all aspects of your treatment in detail. Using video imaging computers and visual aids Dr. Edney and our Treatment Coordinator will show you exactly what's involved in the treatment, what results can be expected, and how your active participation can help ensure success. Our goal is to answer all of your questions regarding your treatment and we encourage questions from both the patient and the parent. We will provide a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees.

Depending on the complexity of your orthodontic needs, we may discuss a separate appointment to obtain more detailed diagnostic records.
