Shelby has been at Dr. Edney’s office for over 2 years. Before entering the world of Orthodontics, she was a teacher in the county for over 7 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children, Kyler and Brynn, and her husband TJ. She is a lover of animals and has 2 fur babies at home. Her cat, Kiki, and dog, Cooper. In the summertime you can find her enjoying trips to the lake with her family.

Melody is a proud native of Henderson County and has been a dedicated team member here at Edney Orthodontics for over 23 years! She’s a devoted mom to her amazing son, Cody and shares her home with her beloved fur baby, Gracie Mae. Melody has a passion for travel, especially beach getaways, and she cherishes time spent with family, most notably her fun-loving adventurous cousins! A true original, Melody can write with both hands at once (and one will be a mirror image of the other). And, just for the right price, she may just buy your hiccups from you!

After being a patient of Dr. Edney’s herself, Laura joined the team as a Front Desk Concierge. She now serves as our Treatment Coordinator by welcoming in each new family and leading the way through the initial appointment. She enjoys her role of working alongside Dr. Edney and going above and beyond to make sure patients feel at ease and fully understand their treatment plan and options. Her favorite part is meeting new people and seeing them finish with such a bright and confident new smile! When not with her work family, Laura enjoys shopping, hiking, concerts, and rodeos. Her favorites are sunsets, lazy pool days & anything PINK! Most Importantly, she loves Jesus and spending time with her husband, Wesley, and their 4 kiddos- Layla, Jesse, Kanon, & Myrilah.

With over a decade of experience as a Clinical Assistant and seven dedicated years alongside Dr. Edney, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. While patient care has always been her passion, her journey naturally led her from the clinical side to becoming the Practice Director. Victoria takes pride in leading the practice with the same warmth and dedication she showed in patient care, and she treats every patient as part of the Edney Ortho Family. Rooted deeply in her faith and love of her husband and three beautiful children, Victoria’s heart is fullest when she’s with her family. Outside the office, you’ll likely find her spending quality time with them, creating memories and sharing joy in the everyday moments.

Christy is celebrating 20 years with Edney Orthodontics. She is our very own Clinical Team Lead. She has been married to her husband, Jeff for 35 years. Christy loves growing a large garden, canning, floral arranging and being a grandmother.

Rita has 27 years of experience in orthodontics. She enjoys meeting new people and making new friends, which makes her job at Edney Orthodontics a perfect fit. Rita enjoys spending time with family and being “Lolly” to her three grandchildren.

Mollie has 25 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant which makes her a valued member of the Edney Team. In her spare time, Mollie loves shopping, working out, and gardening. She and her husband love spending time with their family, going to ballgames, and outdoor activities.

Bailey is an Orthodontic Assistant with six years of experience. She is an NC native, born and raised in Hendersonville and is passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. She especially enjoys the challenge of easing hesitant patients, out of their fear of the dental office. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active by lifting weights and hiking. She and her husband also share a love for skydiving and traveling with their 3 children.

Astrid has over 4 decades of orthodontic experience and over 25 of those have been spent with Dr. Edney. Astrid loves flowers, gardening, and face timing her grandchildren.

Beth has been working in the Orthodontic field for over 24 years! She enjoys seeing others smile and be proud of their teeth. She has two amazing children, Jack and Harper. She loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, traveling and going to church. She is grateful to be part of such an amazing team!
