Dr. Steven Edney was born and raised in Tryon, North Carolina. He attended Polk County schools and received a B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee in Human Biology. He received his D.D.S. degree and his M.S. degree in Orthodontics from Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Dr. Edney was a mission dentist to the islands of Guam and Micronesia before returning home to Western North Carolina.
He is a member of the Hendersonville Dental Society and Isothermal Dental Society. In addition, he is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the North Carolina Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Edney, his wife, Jewell, and daughters, Lacy and Starla, reside in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
