Dr. Steven Edney has been creating beautiful smiles for 17 years! Dr. Edney was born and raised in Tryon, North Carolina. He attended Polk County schools and received a B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee in Human Biology. He received his D.D.S. degree and his M.S. degree in Orthodontics from Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Dr. Edney was a mission dentist to the islands of Guam and Micronesia for six years before returning home to Western North Carolina.
He is a member of the Hendersonville Dental Society and the Isothermal Dental Society. Dr. Edney proudly supports local businesses by being a member of both the Hendersonville and Polk County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the North Carolina Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Edney, his wife, Jewell, and daughters, Lacy and Starla, reside in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He gives back to the community by volunteering with Interfaith Ministries and the American Red Cross. In his spare time, Dr. Edney enjoys traveling, hiking, canoeing, flag football and scuba diving.
